Bruce Lee is one of my favorite public figures of all time.

He's both a master at martial arts and hollywood legend.

Plus, he's big on philosophy.

One of the main lessons I've learned from him (you've probably heard about it before) is the

'empty your cup, so it may be filled' principle.

When it comes to manifesting a new reality, you need to be willing to "empty" your old one.

Although the brain has extremely powerful processing capabilities, it requires limits to function.

This is why we need to create new beliefs to create a new reality.

Before you introduce a new belief, you must let go of your old one.

If you don't, you risk experiencing what's known as cognitive dissonance: when you have two beliefs that contradict each other.

To avoid this mental entanglement, empty your cup.

Seek neutrality. Detach from assumptions. Be open to receive.

Become receptive.
